Travel CancellationThe Company shall reimburse the Insured Party for the penalty contractually applied by the Policyholder pursuant to the General Conditions of Carriage, for cancellation of the ticket by the Insured Party which is the consequence of unforeseeable circumstances not existing at the time of booking the ticket determined by any unforeseen event, objectively documented, independent of the will of the Insured Party and of such gravity as to make it impossible for the Insured Party to undertake the trip or the objective and unavoidable need to provide assistance to his sick or injured family members.The guarantee shall include the impossibility of undertaking the trip following a confirmed infection with Covid 19 by the Insured or his family members.The guarantee starts from the date of booking of the Transport Ticket and ends when the Insured starts the activities necessary to board the Ship (outward and/or return) and is valid for both the Outward and Return legs.

The guarantees "Medical expenses", "Person-related assistance", "Vehicle assistance" will have the following validity period.
For the outward journey: the guarantee begins 48 hours before the official embarkation time and is valid from the moment in which the Insured begins the journey from his/her residence to reach the port of embarkation with the shortest route. The guarantee ends 12 hours after the disembarkation of the Insured Party (based on the actual time of arrival of the ship).For the return trip: the guarantee starts 12 hours before the official embarkation time and is valid from the moment the Insured starts the trip to reach the port of embarkation with the shortest route. The guarantee ends 48 hours after the disembarkation of the Insured Party (based on the actual time of arrival of the ship).
Daily allowance for hospitalization due to Covid 19 infection This cover is valid due to an infection with COVID-19, provided that the diagnosis is made during the journey and that the infection leads to hospitalization in a nursing home.
Convalescence allowance due to Covid 19 infectionThis cover is valid due to an infection with COVID-19, provided that the diagnosis is made during the journey and that the infection leads to hospitalization in an intensive care unit.
The guarantees "Allowance for hospitalization due to Covid 19 infection" and "Allowance for Convalescence due to Covid 19 infection" will have the following period of validity.For the outward journey: the guarantee shall commence 48 hours before the official embarkation time and shall be valid from the moment in which the Insured begins the journey from his/her residence to reach the port of embarkation with the shortest route. The guarantee ends at the latest 15 days after disembarkation of the Insured Party.For the return trip: the guarantee begins 12 hours before the official embarkation time and is valid from the moment in which the trip of the Insured begins to reach, with the shortest route, the port of embarkation. The guarantee ends 48 hours after the disembarkation of the Insured Party (based on the actual time of arrival of the ship).
